Children's work
Sunday School & Crèche
Our Children's work takes place at the 10.15am service. After some teaching for the children early in the main meeting, they meet together across the road in the church flat.
All children of any age are welcome and we work hard to welcome new arrivals and settle them into their groups. For more information contact children@christchurchmayfair.org
Each Christ Church Kids session (designed for 6-10 year olds) includes learning about God and Jesus from the Bible, and related games, quizzes and craft activities.
Crafts and worksheets are designed to reinforce the main teaching point, and to provide parents with material to further discuss and explore the passage at home with their children.
In recent terms, Christ Church Kids has looked at an overview of the Bible (based upon "The King, the Snake and the Promise"), "Heroes of Faith" from the Old Testament, and the Book of Acts.
Christ Church Tots bridges the gap between crèche and Sunday School (Christ Church Kids). Aimed a 2-4 year olds the teaching and games are designed to convey gospel truths to the younger children.
Crèche
A well equipped crèche runs for children under two. Those bringing young children are encouraged to drop them off at the church flat as the older children come over for CCK about 10 minutes into the service.
