Ministries of Mercy

'Ministries of Mercy' is the collective name for a growing number of projects providing practical help and support to the community. The projects are run by various churches from within the Co-Mission network. The name 'Ministries of Mercy' comes from the parable of the good samaritan. Jesus tells us to be like the good samaritan, who provided shelter, finances, medical care and friendship to the man he came across in need on the Jericho road. We are therefore committed at TBT to supporting and equipping the church family to respond to the different needs of those we come across in need, whether they be on our doorstep or on the other side of the world. Underpinning all our projects is a desire that our practical acts of love extend to meeting people's deepest need of reconciliation with God. Therefore in all our endevours we aim, where appropriate, to communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ.
