Co-Mission is a church planting network, made up of churches from a variety of denominations, committed to reaching the city of London with the good news about Jesus Christ.
London needs thousands of new gospel churches that are eager to make Jesus known to the diverse population of this city. We want to play our part, together with many other churches and networks, in meeting this huge need.
Planting
We’re all about church planting with the purpose of reaching into new communities in London for the glory of Christ. The churches are planting into many different ministry and cultural contexts. We’re not the only ones doing this, but we’re doing our part to reach the lost of the city.
Training
We have a strong focus on training people in gospel ministry to equip the next generation of men and women in gospel ministry.
The Need
There is a great need, and it can be overwhelming sometimes, but let’s look at the numbers and how we can bring that 9 million number into a more reachable perspective.
The Churches
The churches are what make the Co-Mission network. These churches are pillars of biblical truth in their community as they Love London, especially with the gospel.
Planting
Our specific short-term objective is to plant ten more churches in London by 2029. We know that will demand much of us but we want to be comfortable with being uncomfortable in taking bold risks for the gospel.
To Reach London
The harvest field is global, but our focus is on the millions of people of every nation and culture living within the city of London. London is great, global city but it is also a lost city full of people who don’t yet know the joy and hope of eternal life in Christ.
For Christ
The most important part or our vision isn’t planting, nor London but Jesus Christ. Jesus is worth it all. We do this for the honour of his name and for his gospel. Whether or not we succeed in what we’re trying to do, his smile over us matters more than anything.

Co-Mission churches vary hugely in culture, but we all proclaim the same joyful message that Jesus is our Lord and Saviour.
All our churches proclaim the gospel – that Jesus is Christ our Lord, who came as our king, died for our sins, rose to rule and will return to judge.
The ministry context and cultures of these churches, though, vary around the network. Our young workers’ congregations in Mayfair and at The Globe Church are inevitably very different from our suburban congregations in Wimbledon and Walton, which are also very different from our urban estate congregations in Battersea and Croydon. We rejoice in this cultural diversity!
