Accessibility
We want to ensure that REVIVE is a great experience for everybody.
We know that additional needs are wide-ranging and want to do what we can to make your experience at REVIVE as enjoyable as possible.
REVIVE mostly takes place on a sports field, which means that the weather can affect mobility on site. We have a route for cars to drive to each area of the field, so you can be dropped off if moving around the field is tricky.
We stay in student flats and houses. There are fully accessible and adapted rooms available in the flats. All houses have ground-floor rooms and all bathrooms are walk-in showers. When booking your ticket, there is space to let us know your accessibility needs, and we will work with you and your church’s REVIVE Rep to, as far as possible, assign accommodation that meets your needs.
There is parking outside the accommodation, and a priority car-park at the entry to the field.
There are three easy-access toilets on the field. There is also an accessible toilet in the Sports Pavilion.
All venues are level-access.
In the Big Top there will be a space allocated for wheelchairs and carers/friends. We are also able to move seats to enable you to sit with your church in another part of the Big Top. Speak to the Stewards when you arrive at the Big Top, and they will help you.
If you would prefer a quieter experience in the Big Top, we recommend you aim to sit at the side of the tent and avoid the centre section.
Please note that there will be bright stage lights used in the Big Top.
All Big Top sessions will be live-streamed into our Marketplace.
We operate a hearing loop in the Big Top. When you arrive, speak to a Steward or look at the Big Top map to find out where to sit.
Large print copies of the lyrics of songs and Bible passages are available in the Big Top. Ask a Steward if you would like to use these.
All Big Top sessions will have a live translation running via an app. Speak to a Steward who can help you access this.
If you have a personal assistant or carer attending to support you, they can register for a free Carer Ticket on our booking page.
We warmly welcome registered assistance and guide dogs to REVIVE. Please let us know on booking or at revive@co-mission.org if you will be bringing your dog.
The only animals allowed on site are fully trained and registered assistance dogs, and we ask that your dog wears a lead or harness to identify them.
At all times the REVIVE field is open, we have fully trained First Aiders on site able to help.
Please do ensure you bring your regular medications to REVIVE with you, along with a family member or friend trained in administering them if needed. We are not able to store medication for you at REVIVE.
Our REVIVE SEND Team will support children and young people with additional needs in their sessions. See the Kids and Youth page for more information.
