Over the next 18 months we will be praying through the London boroughs. Join us this month in praying for Camden.
– Camden is an incredibly ethnically diverse borough with significant French, Somali, South Asian, Arabic, Latin American, Chinese and Jewish communities. There is also a very large student population connected to the ‘Knowledge Quarter’ (including UCL, Birkbeck, SOAS) and hundreds of thousands commute into Camden each day and through the major rail hub of King’s Cross, St Pancras and Euston. Pray for churches seeking to reach these people with the gospel, including Euston Church, Church at South Hampstead, the Chinese Church in London and Hope Church West End.
– Pray particularly for Hope Church West End – led by Alex Brito and formed from the merger of a Mosaic Multicultural and Hope Community last year – as they outgrow (praise God) their current meeting place – that the Lord would open the door to a larger venue.
– Camden has significant pockets of deprivation. Pray that existing or new churches would reach the council estates of Camden. Pray particularly that a healthy church would be planted in the centre of Camden – one of the most deprived wards – where there is a lack of gospel witness.
