Please join us in praying for Christ Church Staines, led by James Bunyan.
Give thanks for:
– Our recent confirmation service, which saw 10 people confirmed. 4 of these, especially, were folk from Christ Church who have made great strides in their Christian faith in the last few months.
– Give thanks for gentle, steady growth in the congregation, and in our outreach events, at Autumn time, Christmas & Easter.
– Give thanks for our first year here, in July! Give thanks for the way we have been welcomed by the church and how we have grown together.
Please pray:
– For our music! We don’t have anyone in the congregation who can regularly lead worship. Pray for the Lord to raise up more people this term.
– Please pray as we look at the Sermon on the Mount this term. Pray for humble hearts as we hear some pretty hard-hitting teaching.
– Pray for the James (pastor) and the PCC as we begin to draw together a vision for the next few years ahead.
