Encouragements
– Give thanks for a growing team for our front door knocking ministry & for a few (whose doors have been knocked on!) joining us on a Sunday and at even at a mid week kids group.
– Give thanks for new people coming to church & our mid week kids groups – either being invited by friends or bringing themselves.
– Give thanks for Jodie, our new Ministry Trainee, who has made a brilliant start during her first few weeks. Jodie was previously a nanny and has been a member of the church family at St Peter’s for the last few years.
– Give thanks for Emily Edwards, the Youth & Children’s Worker, who was commissioned recently as the Families Minister, having recently completed a 4 year Masters degree in Christian Ministry.
Prayer
– Pray for a small team from St Peter’s, led by Jez & Rachel Day, who are hoping to plant a church in the North West London area.
– Pray that the new people we are seeing on a Sunday and mid week will engage with the teaching and that we would know how to engage well with them and to help each one of them grow in their faith.
– Pray for an upcoming Maximise event with our Co-Mission cluster on 7th October. Pray that many would accept an invitation to come to this event. Pray for the event itself – for those organising & speaking at it – & for those attending – to hear, pray and see what ministry opportunities God may be calling them to.
