Join us in praying for The Bridge Battersea, led by Tom Dowding.

Give thanks:

– For God’s provision in moving us towards merging with Shaftesbury. This wasn’t initially something we went looking for, but in His wisdom now seems to provide us with lots of benefits and increased opportunity for the advance of the gospel in the years to come.

– For a church family who have been on board, despite the changes that will be upcoming and some sacrifices being made.

– For hardworking trustees and other leaders, putting in lots of time and effort to think through the change.

Please pray:

– For unity and love amidst all the changes – within the Bridge, and in upcoming new relationships with the Shaftesbury congregation whose long-term leaders are retiring.

– For real prayerfulness from our end, and the Lord’s leading and directing in all the changes being made.

– For fruitful new mission opportunities – how to use the building midweek, ideas for new events, and raising up of workers for the harvest fields. That this would all result in the kingdom coming across Battersea!

– For favour with the landlord as we negotiate a new lease, and good partnership with Shaftesbury around charitable trust discussions.
