Please join us in praying for West Kilburn Baptist Church, a friend of Co-Mission, led by Steve Palframan.
– Praise God for baptisms this term of people who’ve joined the church in the last year. This is an exciting testimony to God’s goodness in using our merged church for his glory and the extension of his kingdom.
– Praise God for Nathan starting as a Trainee Pastor in January 2026. He will be working in the church alongside studies with Crosslands. Pray that he settles quickly, learns lots and is a blessing to the church.
– Pray for a number of grieving families in the church. We had a number of funerals before Christmas, including one for a young woman who died suddenly at home. The church was packed with family, friends and member of the Congolese community. Pray for gospel fruit from the message that was preached.
– As we mark the one year anniversary of our two churches meeting together please continue to pray for the unity of the church. We have some big decisions to make together about leaders, staff and future ministry, pray that we would have a strong sense of God’s wisdom and leading in those matters.
– Pray for our ongoing efforts to reach people in the community. We’ve been encouraged by seeing people join on a Sunday from our table evangelism on Saturday mornings. Pray that we would continue to see that happen and that the evangelism course we’re hoping to run this term would be full of enquirers.
