Pray for West Kilburn Baptist Church

October 14, 2025

Please join us in praying for West Kilburn Baptist Church, led by Steve Palframan.

– Thank God that the merger with Redeemer Queen’s Park went well and that the “new” church has continued to grow and flourish. Over the summer we’ve had a handful of new families join the church and since the merger we’ve grown with new members and baptisms.

– Pray for our youth and children’s ministry.  This has grown out of proportion to our ability to run it which is causing a few problems. Praise God for unbelieving families who visit regularly on a Sunday and new young people from the South Kilburn estate in the youth groups. Pray that God would supply new leaders and bring lasting fruit.

– One of our leaders and key families in the church, the Browns, have had their UK visa refused and are returning to the US at the end of September.  This is a big blow for the leadership team that relied heavily on David’s leadership gifts. Pray for the family who would have loved to stay in the UK and for their children settling back into the US school system.

– We have a joint LCM football outreach camp running in October half term for junior school children. It’s going to be hosted at a local youth centre on the South Kilburn estate and we’re hoping to build friendships with more local young people. Do pray for Isaiah who’s leading the camp along with Theo working with him.
